ROOKS COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 9:30a.m. Friday in Rooks County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Dodge Ram driven by Mark A. Hays, 59, Woodston, was southbound on 25 Road just north of U.S. 24 six miles east of Stockton.&nbsp;The pickup veered left off the roadway and struck a tree.Hays was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to&nbsp;Plumer-Overlease Mortuary.&nbsp; The KHP did not have information on seat belt usage.
