KIOWA COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 2:30p.m. Wednesday in Kiowa County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Buick Enclave driven by Jordan Jae Stauth, 37 Haviland, was traveling on U.S. 54, one half mile east of&nbsp; 37th Avenue. The SUV crossed the eastbound lane onto the eastbound shoulder and collided head on with an eastbound 2011 Kenworth semi driven by&nbsp;Moyer, Richard M. Moyer, 74, Haviland.Stauth was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to&nbsp;Hatfield-Prusa Mortuary. EMS transported Moyer to Kiowa County Hospital.&nbsp; The KHP had incomplete seat belt usage information due to the fire.
