Press release from the City of Great Bend...

The Great Bend Police Department and City officials want citizens to know that the safety of the public is their upmost concern. A small number of staff have been quarantined due to exposure to COVID-19.

The number of staff who are quarantined will not impact the duties and responsibilities of the department.

City Administrator Kendal Francis said, “We have plans in place to address these types of situations. Keeping staff and citizens safe is our top priority. We encourage everyone to follow KDHE & CDC guidelines as we ensure you the best care we can give from city staff.”

We will continue to keep you updated and citizens as safe as possible in serving the community. Please adhere to the Barton County Health Department directives and guidelines in relation to local COVID-19 directives.
